13th July 2017
Dear Brother Secretary(s),
DISTRICT 26 Association Meeting and Potential Candidate Meet and Greet The bi-monthly District 26 Association Meeting will be held on the 28th August, 2017.
The Meeting will be hosted by Lodge Richard Coley no.152 at the Hawkesbury Masonic Centre commencing at 7:00pm, with Tea, Coffee, Biscuits and Sandwiches provided by the members of Lodge Richard Coley.
An invitation is extended to all Brethren who are subscribing members of all Resident Craft Lodges within District 26. Potential Candidate "Meet & Greet" and Meeting Changes As you may know, our public Facebook page is going extremely well with close to 50 membership inquiries already being received.
As part of our campaign we have started to host events promoted via Facebook. Our "Dinner with the Masons" Event in June was a great success with 7 potential candidates dining at Lodge Nepean from across the district. We have repeated this with Nepean's Charity Night on the 17th July and it appears that it will be just as successful with a number of potential candidates informing us they will be in attendance.
To make it fair for all Lodges, DGIW VW Bro Peter Figg came up with brilliant idea to host these regular events on the same night as our D26 Association Meeting with an invite to all lodges to get up and speak about their Lodges for a few minutes each.
What we ask for is that a member or two from each Lodge to attend on the night and give a 2minute talk about their Lodge history and any other interesting facts. If any lodge have business cards or other items such as Free pens, please bring them along.
This event will be promoted heavily on our Public Facebook page and we expect to have candidates from right across the district attending. Further details for the night are attached.
